Comprehension is an important aspect of reading and understanding material. Students can know the vocabulary and read through text fluently, but without comprehension the goals of learning are only partial fulfilled.

- Text: the level of vocabulary, visuals, etc. can influence comprehension
- Context: environment and motivation
